Our destination magazine Morzine Source teamed up with Retro Rentals and the Morzine Office de Tourisme to create the first village exhibition concept at the Telegraph Ski & Snowboard show in London during October 2014. Several resort based businesses booked space on our Morzine Village, and we worked with each exhibitor to help them plan fun, interactive games to enhance the attractiveness of the village to ski show visitors. Decorated in the style of a Christmas market, the Morzine Village became a ‘must visit’ part of the year’s ski show, and we were successful in introducing Morzine to a number of winter sports journalists and travel writers during the course of the show.
We’re firm believers in a ‘resort first’ approach to destination marketing, and this community project made a big impression on the show, while at the same time increasing the profile of the resort.
